OK, we know you have visited this site.  You know who you are.  But you haven't added your profile yet. You haven't rsvp'ed yet either.  Time to come out of hiding.  When you surface, you will encourage others to do the same.  We want to build excitement and momentum on this website in the months ahead so that we get the best turnout in August.  So don't be shy.  Send Kip a MessageSend Kip a Message

Ok ... so we're older.  Probably heavier.  Likely heavier.  Oh fuck it, of course we're heavier.  Our hair is no longer where it once was and has migrated to where it once never was.

The reflection in the mirror confounds us.  For some of us, it probably scares us.  For others of us, we have no idea who that person is that we are looking at.  Consider the bright side, with corrective lenses we should be grateful that we are able to see anything at all.  I'm squinting (and nauseous) just trying to write this bullshit in white font over black background listening to Jon Bershof's favorite vinyl collection from back in the day.

Here's the bottom line.  Sign up for the reunion.  Do some situps and try to fit into those pants that you'll never get into again and come to the damn reunion.  I'm sure Peter Stapp will be there and what could be better than spending time with Peter Stapp?

There will be all kinds of people there that you tried to avoid 40 years ago.  People you never liked and couldn't care less if you ever saw again.  People you wanted to sleep with who wouldn't give you the time of day.  By now, more than likely most of them would be grateful if you just acknowledged their very existence.  Whoever they are.  Hell, you probably won't recognize them anyway.

I'll bet there might even be somebody there who you DID sleep with and completely regretted it and have long since forgotten about but will have some very interesting flashbacks that will make the taste if not the necessity of a high volume of alcohol more important to you than it has been in a long time.  (Do you think that Mrs. Henry would call that a run-on sentence?)

Ok.  That's all I've got for now.  I have to take my afternoon meds.  See you in August.

40 years?
Who'd a thunk it?

What happened to all of you?  Where did you go and what did you do?

I lost track of pretty-much everyone... not on purpose, just got busy and life keeps moving.  Somehow over 40 years (33 back in Denver Metro)  I only ran into a few of you to reconnect a few times. (you know who you are)

Should be an interesting reunion.

It's a pleasure to reconnect with my GW friends.  Thanks to John Bershof, I am completing this profile even though I graduated from East.   Thanks John.

Can you believe it has been almost 40 years since high school?? It's been an amazing journey for all of us, and it will be fun to share some of our stories.

Hope everyone is well.  Life in Northern California is good. I have learned that two high school boys means no time and no money.  I am convinced that bleachers are my second home. Ah, but life is good.

Hope to see you'll at the reunion if the schedule works.
